A contiguous yoke style is one that has a set-in sleeve but is topdown and seamless; set-in sleeves are often knit in pieces and then sewn together.
A set-in sleeve has a tailored fit and is just plain fun to do!
For this class we will simply be making a yoke. I don’t know how far we’ll get, but we will definitely get through the challenging bits. We will be using the Cognac Sweater pattern by Atelier Castin, which is included in the class (Ravelry: Cognac Sweater pattern by Atelier Castin). If you just want to learn the technique, you can use any yarn you might already have. You’'ll probably need about 100 yds. If you’d like to keep going on your own and make a sweater that fits you, you’ll need yarn that gets you 4 sts/inch.
