Deja Vu - Aran Weight
Deja Vu is a blend of natural fibers we accumulate as scrap in the milling process and we then re-process into a lovely 2-ply soft aran weight. It is perfect for that cabled sweater you’ve been eyeing, or any multitudes of hats, mittens, anything! The fiber content changes each batch, but is a blend of wool, alpaca, llama, and can contain mohair, angora bunny, silk and other animal fibers. We try to not let anything go to waste!
Hand dyed with professional, environmentally low-impact acid dyes, using kettle dyeing and over-dyeing techniques for subtle color changes throughout. Due to the hand dyeing process in small pots, please purchase enough for your project, and when using multiple skeins alternate skeins for seamless transitions between skeins, even within a dye lot there can be subtle changes from skein to skein.
158 yds/approx. 4 oz (113 g) (its a range because each batch has a different percentage of heavy fibers like alpaca in it!
3.5-4.5 sts = 1” on US #7-9 (4.5-5.5 mm)
Hand wash, lay flat to dry
